Cense Group won top honours at the Xerocon Partner Awards in Melbourne, claiming the Bookkeeping Partner for the Year for 2017.
The winners were announced at its annual Xerocon event, in front of over three-thousand attendees from New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
The global leader in online accounting software, Xero has over 100,000 business advisers worldwide as part of its network and it was an outstanding achievement for Cense Group to be recognised as one of the industries best in Australia.
Winners were judged across a number of criteria including innovation, ability to boost productivity and provide client solutions, strong marketing strategies, certification and usage of cloud technology tools to provide value to small business customers.
Trent Innes, Managing Director of Xero Australia, congratulated the practice and acknowledged their dedication to helping local small businesses in Tasmania thrive.
“Today’s accountants and bookkeepers are truly evolving into business advisors. Technology is giving these type of advisers total visibility of their financial books in real time. An advisor can point out pitfalls and opportunities along the way that many small businesses might miss, especially newer ones. Therefore, we are very proud to award Cense Consulting Group with this honour, as we know they are truly dedicated to helping the local small businesses in their community grow, prosper and build long-term sustainability. ”
Natacha Bennett of Cense Group said“it’s an honour to be recognised in Tasmania for the work we do in our local community. For us, it’s not just about helping a small business with their taxes or compliance, it’s about working with them to build a strategy to reach their goals for the long term. Cloud technology has provided us an opportunity to transform the way local businesses work. I couldn’t be more proud of the innovative work the team has done to continue and provide more value to our customers.”
